The build up to Christmas period for most Reward professionals is less about acquiring gifts and attending the discommodious office party and more about preparing for the coming review period. The hot debates for 2015 are whether real wages in the UK will finally recover after six straight years of decline.
Expectations strengthen for the current tepid post-recession economic recovery and in some sectors key talent shortages will bring challenges in pay differentiation to organisations with limited pay budgets. Auto enrolment continues with small and micro employees staging dates taking place leading to dramatic increases in their overall payroll costs.
