Reward professionals can often get lost managing the process, and forget to put the outcomes first. If we lose touch with our ultimate end goals, and become fixated on the minor details during the process, then reward won’t be as effective as it should be.
Surely if there was a way where software could simplify and improve the process, and reward professionals could focus on the aims of compensation, then this could help change the mindset. Present systems need replacing to make administration easier, and then reward teams can embrace the change.
Reward has the potential to support the business function and ensure business goals are met. We can deliver the most value when we can reduce the time spend on the process and focus on what really matters to the business.
