Many organizations in the UK are working on their GPG reporting for the 2018/19 reporting period. It’s not likely that there will be a great change in the figures in just 1 year, but expectations have been set that the Gender Pay Gap will reduce.
In real life, though, it’s not easy to move the needle on the Gender Pay Gap. That’s why the UK government is giving organizations 5 years to make changes. In those 5 years there’s time for action, and managing those expectations is key. People need to see you have the intention of moving forward, they need to know how you are moving forward, and what is being planned. But where do you start? What is most effective? And how do you know what is going to work in your organization?
In this webinar our guest speaker, Inge Woudstra – an experienced Consultant in Gender Diversity – will give you a 6-step model to help you assess and improve your Gender Pay Gap action plan. She will show you those initiatives that have worked, and those that sound great but really don’t have much impact on the gender pay gap, and how they fit together to create a plan that will help move the needle on the gender pay gap.
Inge designs and runs training and organizational change programs helping organizations leverage their female talent. She is the author of ‘Be Gender Smart – The Key to Career Success for Women’.
Before starting her own business, Inge has held change management, consultancy and teaching roles in international business including Ashridge Business School, Chatham House, Shell and Siemens. She is a qualified MBTI facilitator, CIPD Associate and mentor at the Professional Women’s Network.
