We are now into the first year of reporting on gender pay gaps and female employees and journalists as much as HR professionals and business leaders are awaiting the publications of the required stats and ‘league tables’ with considerable interest.
Based on recent research IES carried out for the Equality and Human Rights Commission, as well as their work with individual employers, Duncan will talk through the evidence on ‘what works’ in reducing gender pay gaps and how you can develop action plans to help reduce the size of your published gaps in future years.
Duncan has more than 30 years’ experience in research, policy and advisory work on pay and equality. He contributed to the development of the Government Equality Office’s reporting regulations and the updating of the European Commission’s gender equality strategy and has advised major employers in public and private sectors on gender pay issues.
Ruth is Industry Principal and key advisor to Curo. With over 20 years of Global HR and reward management experience in the financial services sector she has international expertise in the management of compensation processes and the design of pay and benefit structures, salary progression systems and management incentive plans. Her corporate experience includes Lloyds TSB Group, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Dow Jones Group, and Credit Suisse.
